County asks feds for $3 million to buy out flood-prone neighborhood (The Columbus Dispatch)

Franklin County officials have applied for a $3.08 million grant to tear down 21 houses from a flood-prone area near Whims Ditch in Franklin Township and relocate the homeowners. The county wants to convert the property into green space, County Administrator Don L. Brown said.
